I wish to change my Memphis 10 shafts (originl Big Berthas 1995) to graphite. What shafts do u suggest. I’m a lively 74 playing to 8 h/cap?
Good information from Michael on the determining the flex and trajectory. You also need to consider the weight. You can go with graphite that is similar in weight to the Memphis 10, or you go lighter. If you were referring to the Memphis 10 shafts being iron shafts, the Callaway irons require a .355 tip shaft. The woods were .335. Being .355 tip in the irons, there are a few options. You may consider the Aerotech SteelFiber, the UST Recoil, the Paderson TS-I Trajectory Series or the Xcaliber. All have options in taper tip and all are high quality products.

Hello, Sean,
Your choice will depend on two key factors: your usual carry distance to identify the shaft flex, and the desired trajectory which will identify the shaft profile. The following link will help you find what will fit you the best: http://www.golfworks.com/mpf-shaft-fitting-worksheet/a/496/. Customer service at Golfworks will also be of great help.
The Callaway head is a 335 hosel bore, so you’ll want to be sure the shaft you choose is 335. Almost all wood shafts today are 335.
Hope this helps!
Michael
