Understand on the desire for a heavier weight graphite in the MPF shafts, but we really do not sell many 95+ gram graphite iron shafts across all brands that offer them. Definitely not 100-105+ grams in graphite. Still, I do like several of the options available, like the SteelFiber and the KBS options. The barrier for us to develop is the time and cost vs what we might sell in that weight in our MPF brand. I appreciate the feedback and when we do decide to re-design the MPF line I just might consider expanding the weight options.
On the cork and tungsten powder idea, I wouldn’t recommend. To test the weight feel, adding the lead tape would be an option, but not a permanent solution. The inserts only weight 1.3 grams, so not adding much weight there for sure. I think you’re just going to have to try a heavier weight shaft in another brand if you need to get to the 100-105 gram shaft weight.

Sometimes a shaft just isn’t right and you may need to change brands. What is good for your woods doesn’t mean it’s good for your Irons.
What I do when required with customers is use lead tape on the outside of the shaft. You can add two 10″ straps of HDLT which is about 10 grams (3 straps will give you 15 grams). This will at least tell you if an increase in shaft weight will actually help.
