hello, I am looking for a new iron set 5-pw for my daughter. She hits the current Cobra Fly-z 7-iron about 110 metres carry. Which clubhead / shaft combination or pak would you recommend from the Maltby selection?
Several of our iron designs could work. The TE and DBM are traditional profiles with more traditional lofts and if that is acceptable there is no reason why they would not be a good choice. I would also suggest the KE4 S or KE4 Tour+, or the newer TS2. All highly playable. All of these have stronger, more modern lofts than the TE and DBM. As far as shafts, there are many choices. In steel I would think a lightweight option would be best and any of the Zelos choices by Nippon could work. 65 gram, 75 gram and 85 gram options are available. In graphite, there a lot of options. The MPF Pro Series iron or the Recoil 660 SC could be good choices.
Hope this helps.

Thank you for the reply. I would go for A flex graphite shafts and modern lofted clubheads – question is that do the shafts really need to be one inch shorter than same shafts for a male person of same height (5’6″, wrist to floor 32.3″)?
I have a set of TE forged myself and would offer her the same – or the DBM forged – which shafts would work best with these?
