I was wondering who was responsible for Maltby’s clubhead design now, and if Ralph still played a key role?
Ralph has not been involved in the design of Maltby branded clubs for quite a few years. With his name on them, obviously, we that do the design, let him know what we are doing, but he has not done a design in a while. That being said, designs he did we still sell, like the TE Forged and DBM, which is a design he did that was originally our Logic Tradition Forged. We changed the grooves when we needed to due to the USGA and we developed the DBM finish to go on that design, but the initial design he did. Myself, Pete Calloway and Brian Betts make up our design team and we do the concepts and designs for all that we do now. We stick to the sound principles Ralph taught us about mass and dimensional characteristics and their affect on playability and firmly believe that the designs we do are as playable, in any category, as any.
