I am starting to play golf again after not playing for 10 years.  I have hit a few times at a driving range, but have not been on a course.   I have a set of KE4 Max with Kuro Kage Black shafts.

I have interest in making the 4, 5 and 6 irons the same length as the 7 iron and would like to get feedback.  My thought is the shorter length will make the irons easier to hit.  Is it as simple as reducing club length and matching the overall weight of each club to the 7 iron?   I would use a combination of the removable weights and lead tape.   Is there a certain location on the club head that I should put the tape?

you might want to search information regarding single length irons to get an idea of what you are attempting to do, and why you’re going to run into problems.
You may be able to total club weight to match, but I doubt if swing weight would be close. for example there is 20 grams of difference between the 4 iron and the 7 iron. adding or removing weight will create an issue with shaft flex, in addition to tipping the shaft correctly.
If you’re unfamiliar with swing weight vs club total weight, or how head weight affects shaft flex, you may want to do a bit more research before attempting this.
welcome to the rabbit hole :-)

Thank you for the feedback. I figured it would not be so simple.
