Looking to hear some opinions on the difference between the KE4 Max and the KE4-S. I understand the Max has an MPF of 959 and the S has an MPF 863 but in practice is there really that much of a difference? I like the look of the S a lot more than the Max and I tend to not hit a deep divot so I think the low weight of the S would fit my swing nicely. Is the Max really that much of a better club than the S?

For context I am a relatively new golfer using some warrior irons (I dont even know what that brand is my uncle just gave them to me). I haven’t fully calculated my handicap but I would say it is definitely high. I play bogey/double bogey golf. Looking to get some irons that will be a good base for me to continue to work on my swing but still be forgiving.

Also willing to consider Sti2 irons if those are a solid option as well. I hear a lot of good things about those irons

I build clubs for myself and friends as a hobby. Of late I’ve built several for adults wanting to get in to golf, or get “more serious”. The most popular iron choice for them is the STi2. Not because of price, but playability and performance. Except for feel, which is highly subjective, the STi2 is as good as the KE4 Max, S, and TS3

Great to know! I think as of right now I am leaning toward the max because I have heard great things. My biggest and frankly only draw back was the looks of the Max but after seeing some real pictures I find them actually pretty nice looking. Almost night and day compared to what they look like on the website. Thanks for your response and advice!
