I just purchased a KE4 ST-2A driver head (the only adjustable adaptor head offered by Golfworks), and am sorry to hear it was being discontinued. Don’t know if this due to technical issues with the adaptor, design flaws, or just customer dissatisfaction? I’m considering returning it because I didn’t advertise it to my customer as a “discontinued” model. Also, the head did not come with hosel adaptor adjustment instructions. Please post an adjustment chart or other instructions on setting the various face/loft options. Thanks in advance.

Here is my understanding and thoughts for what they’re worth: if they follow through on their plans to discontinue this model, I don’t think it’s due to design flaws or problems with the adapters or lack of sales. They occasionally just bring in new models and let the old models not be refreshed. Sometimes they decide to keep a model instead of discontinuing it. I know they have done that in recent years with some iron models, like the MMB-17. And even though they’re planning to discontinue this line, they haven’t dropped the price as they do when a model is officially discontinued and becomes a “warehouse special.” Personally, I have quite a number of shafts with adapters installed for this model and use them in my fitting business, so I appreciate your concerns because of my own investment in the KE4 ST-2A. It’ll be interesting to read Britt’s response. Best to you in your business. Michael
