I’m looking to get a bit more launch and less fade/slice on my adjustable 3W. It looks like setting 6 or 8 might help with that, but being new to the adjustable woods, I’m looking for some advice.
Thanks!

It’s one of those things where you’re just going to have to experiment with the settings. 6 or 8 could be a good place to start. It is difficult to give direction without seeing you actually hit shots and analyze the ball flight data. Generally speaking, to reduce the fade slice you would want to start with a more closed face. That may seem counter to also wanting to have a higher launch, but it’s actually not. We always assume a square face at impact, so if the face angle setting is .5 deg. closed, at impact the effective loft at impact is actually .5 degree higher than the standard loft. Easier to explain in drivers, so a 10 degree driver with a .5 degree closed face angle will have an effective loft of 10.5 deg. Effective loft being loft at impact assuming a square face to the target at impact.
I know it’s confusing and I wish I could give more guidance, but I think you’re just going to have to experiment to dial it in.

Totally understand! Thank you very much. I think I’ll play around with 6, 7, and 8 and see the results.
