I am interested in getting a 3 wood and 5 wood from Golfworks Canada but can’t decide on which pak to get. I’m torn between the MPF, Kuro Kage and waiting for the new Pro Series + shafts. I want to get stiff shafts but am worried ordering the MPF shaft will be too stiff. Not sure what to expect from the Kuro Kage.

Clubhead speed from my 7i is comfortably around 85-95mph. Driver 100-105mph but am practicing to increase it. What would be your best recommendation out of the 3 options. What sort of differences can I expect between the 3?

Based on your speed, definitely would be an S flex I would think. The 2024 version of the Pro Series is firmer. The new version is truer to flex, so the S flex is a real S flex, not a firm S or X. Difficult to compare the profiles of the Kuro Kage and he Pro Series+ because the Pro Series plus is a true fairway wood shaft that has a raw length of 44 inches. The Kuro Kage is a 46 inch shaft that is trimmed for the fairway. That being said, I think the new Pro Series+ might play a little softer in the S flex than the Kuro Kage. Both would be softer than the 2024 Pro Series.

So, if you like firmer feel in an S flex, the 2024 Pro Series could work. If you want a shaft that plays truer to the S flex, either the new Pro Series+ or the Kuro Kage should be the better choice.
