Britt,

Do you have a bottom of bore to ground measurement for the KE4 Tour+ and TS3? I have some shafts I may want to change over and didn’t know if I’d need to mess with extensions and regripping.

Also, maybe a bonus bit of info for me. Can you compare the soles outside of the bounce? Sole width looks close and bounce lower on the Tour+. But, I’ve had irons like the Ping i15 that allegedly higher bounce (5* on the 7 iron) that really dug on me. The TS3 sole works very well for me. Didn’t know how you thought the Tour+ would compare to the TS3 when it’s actually coming into impact. I assume that has more to do with rounding the sole and leaving edge?

Bottom of the bore on the KE4 Tour+ is around 1″. TS3 is right at 3/4″. That’s me doing a quick measure and can vary slightly from head to head, but that should be close.

As far as the sole difference, the TS3 has more from to back sole radius and the leading edge is rounded or beveled a little more. that is one thing I always wanted to improve on the KE4 Tour+ and even on the original, even though they were still a couple for the most playable and versatile heads we have ever done. The TS3, 4, IM, TE+ and anything we have done or are doing we make sure the leading edge and front to back sole radius is what we want. Important feature that must be done right. You can have high bounce but still have a radius or leading edge that is not the best and have trouble like you describe.
