That two-way miss is not necessarily a shaft problem. However, I think with your club head speed you will want a shaft that is low torque for better control. Typically, a heavier shaft with low torque will also give a lower launch. Of the two shafts you cited, the Paderson Kinetixx may fill the bill a bit better.
My personal favorite that is even more tip stiff is the Grafalloy ProLite 35, available in S and X. (The newer model is the ProLaunch Red.) The stiff plays stiffer than most other stiff shafts and gives me excellent shot dispersion and control. Still the driver I use! I also have other drivers with X flex shafts, including this model, but I prefer the feel and performance of the ProLite 35 stiff.

Hope this helps! Michael
I took your recommendation and built a 3 wood with a UFW head and the prolite 35 shaft. This thing is awesome. I have only played one round but the shot dispersion is tighter and I had one dive roll out 300 yards. This was my first time assembling a club, I think I might not ever buy another off the shelf club.
The reason I did this is because I cant control my driver very well, its a big bertha 815 with a 757? speedster shaft. If I like the pro lite shaft in the 3 wood, would it perform the same way in the Callaway driver? Should I just build a Maltby driver? Get the driver out of the bag since the 3 wood can go 300?
Thanks for your help
