That’s going back a while with the M-03. That was the firs set of Maltby I played with when I came here in 2002. Was, is, still a great club. Lofts are as follows:
#1 – 16 deg. // #2 – 18 // #3 – 21 // #4 – 24 // #5 – 27 // #6 – 31 // #7 – 35 // #8 – 39 // #9 – 43 // #PW – 49 // #SW – 55
Those are definitely weaker than what we see today. If you are just wanting to take the lofts back to standard, the lofts above, depending on how much they are off, it should be no problem. If you are wanting to make them stronger, you could go 2 degrees, but these clubs had 3 deg. of bounce so making them stronger by 2 deg. would reduce the bounce to 1 degree (the PW has 5 and the SW has 12). Not something I would recommend. You might get away with that low a bounce on the 1-9 irons if you play on hard/firm turf all the time, but if you play in neutral to softer conditions, 1 deg. of sole angle is not ideal.

Hi Britt,
Many thanks for your information and your advise concerning change of loft vs bounce is highly appreciated.
As I play in Sweden I rarely play on hard bouncing turf. Concequently I will stay with the original designer values as provided.
Many thanks
Peter
