I can hit just about anything Maltby but I am looking for a driver. Sound is the most important. I’m getting mixed reviews on the new ISO driver. I should have jumped on the last version Maltby driver, the one with the interesting paint job, I understand the sound on that driver was great.

I tend to lean towards a more muted sound with my driver. I have played Maltby KE 4 ST-2 driver, the STw driver (the one, I believe, you are referencing, Woody, with the “interesting paint job”) and now the ISO-T. I liked the muted sound on the STw, but it was almost a bit too quiet. The ISO-T has a muted sound with a bit of a solid, not hollow, “pinging” sound on contact. The sound of the ISO-T falls between the louder KE 4 ST-2 and the very muted STw, while being closer to the STw. Of the three, far and away, I like the sound of the ISO-T the best.
I would agree that the ISO is a more solid, muted sound than the KE 4 ST 2. I really like it when I reviewed it for my YouTube channel (Fit2yougolf). Definitely worth a try. – Dave.
