Hi Jim,

I have an original Ke4 fairway wood with the 3 pronged weight installed. I recently reshafted this club with a lighter weight shaft. This has changed the swingweight down to C-8, and it feels much too light. If I want to bring the club back to its original weight, D-2, am I correct in assuming that I will need to add about 8 grams of additional weight to the clubhead? I think the original weight that came in the head was 6 grams, so I will need a 14 gram weight?

I also would like to know if you still sell the 3 pronged weights….all I find in the catalog are the weights equipped with the triangle shaped drive. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello, Ron.

I believe you are figuring the swingweight correctly – 2 grams to the head to add 1 swingweight.

The 3-prong screw weights are discontinued. They only have the 4 gram size. Here’s the link for those although that won’t help you for what you need – http://www.golfworks.com/ke4-screw-weights-wrench/p/MA004G/.
