How does the Maltby MPF 85 gram stiff shaft compare to the MMT 90 stiff shaft? Which one will be higher launching and which will be more stable? Many thanks!

Thanks Britt, I was speaking of the current MPF 85 S iron shaft vs the Parallel tip MMT 90 S shaft, both of which are on the Golfworks website. I understand that you are changing the MPF shafts, but if I order in near future will I bet getting the older stiffer profile or the newer lighter profile? When are the new shafts being released? Thanks.

Also was considering the Grafalloy ProLaunch Blue 82 gram S iron shaft as well, assuming that plus softer with higher launch than both the MMT 90 S and MPF 85 S or even the new profile MPF 78-ish gram stiff shafts?? Appreciate any additional insight. Many thanks

The MPF 85 X will be firmer in profile than the MMT 95 S, as it should be being a true X flex vs the S flex MMT. The MPF will most likely be designated a “mid” trajectory like the MMT, it will have a firmer profile, but a lighter weight. Both are stable shafts, just different weights and flexes.
