I had a buddy of mine build me a set of Maltby TE Forged Irons. Only got a chance to play 6 rounds with them and probably now not until spring as here in VT winter is coming! We only put in a $15 shaft just to see how they feel and I really enjoy them but I feel like I need something of better quality and a little higher launch. I hit my 8 iron about 165 and a 8 handicap. Any recommendations?
For a higher trajectory you might look at the Elevate product from True Temper. There are several weight options in that line. Nippon has some good options as well. The NS Pro 950GH (mid/high trajectory) or the NS Pro 8950GH (High trajectory).

I’m on my second set of TE’s, absolutely LOVE them.
my first set I had with S300’s, I get the ball flight was too low. Before I got my new set I got fitted for shafts at golf galaxy and I fit into the KBS C Taper lights.
The MPF on those shafts is a 4B1H but I gotta tell you the ball flight is high. Maybe you should try them. I absolutely love those shafts.
