Hi,
I know that a lower vcog in the TE irons should increase spin all things being equal. I am coming from a set of Nike vapor pro combo irons which I think have a relatively higher vcog. I believe the nikes are also a degree stronger in loft. If the lofts were equalized, how much more spin would you expect the TEs to generate? I know this is hard to quantify but wondering if you have seen launch monitor numbers to provide some kind of expectation or personal experience from what you’ve seen. Are we talking a few hundred RPMs or more? Thank you in advance for your help.
Thank you for the info Britt. I was hoping you could maybe explain more about how the differences in the vcog between the clubs would affect the spin rates. If I weakened my nike to the same loft as the TE, would the TE spin more than the nikes as the Nike’s have a relatively higher vcog? Would it be fairly significant, or a few hundred rpms in your estimation (which I agree is negligible).
Thank you!
