Britt,

Were some of the F2 irons, a hollow body design? If so, it achieves what goal?

The F2 irons wee hollow. The face was 1025 forged carbon steel and the body was cast 8620 carbon steel. The two piece hollow design allowed us to expand the perimeter weighting of a blade profile and the face was CNC milled to a precise thickness. The feel of the F1 and F2 irons was awesome. Considering doing another 2 piece like this for 2018. It is expensive to develop, but actually less than a true billet forged iron.

I am also looking for a set of F2 forged. I actually have 4-7 irons, and would settle for the 8, 9 irons to complete my set. If anyone has any, full or partial set, please let me know! Thanks.

The F2 was a great head. If they were still available I would buy multiple sets.

Just a FYI the KE4 forged are awesome heads. Great feel and ball flight.

Statechamp. . Perhaps you mean the KE4 tours. 431 stainless and heat treated. The only forged available at the moment are the F2, KE, and MMP. F2 is available in a set only.

Man I love those F2’s Britt. I hope Maltby continues to offer some sort of forgings in the future. I realize it’s expensive to make the dies – but what a club. I’m almost ready to pull the trigger on a back up set of F2’s
