Do the maltby wedges have any tech for wet conditions spin similar to most of the big OEMs now? I just bought a TSW wedge but wondering how much spin inconsistentcy I will have in frequent wet conditions. Thanks much!

Not sure what “technology” you think the OEM’s have that we don’t. Spin is produced by technique, loft and to a much smaller degree than most people think, grooves and surface condition of the face. Yes, grooves displace material, and water, and that is why our multi-groove technology is as good as anything available. Surface roughness or face milling is over hyped as a spin producer. The USGA has very strict surface roughness guidelines we all must follow. Any face surface treatment (that again must be within the USGA guidelines), will have very little to do with enhancing any spin. It’s about the grooves, and the technique. Grooves only play the part of displacing material at impact allowing for a little more surface contact, which helps generate spin.
So, to answer your question, any of our wedges will work well in dry or wet conditions. Just keep the grooves clean.
