I am thinking about adding a slightly heavier weight to my Mavrik standard driver, it comes with a 5 gram weight and I was wondering what if any changes besides feel I may find either pro or con. Thanks in advance

Generally speaking what Rlafoone stated is accurate. The more weight you add the more the affect can be. Depends on where the weight is added and how much. More weight added to the rear of the club head does usually increase the trajectory by moving the cg further back and by making the shaft play more flexible. 5 grams added might make a difference in the feel but probably not much difference in the ball flight. 10 gram change could be more noticeable. Really depends on the player as to how much weight change will be needed to make a noticeable difference.

more weight should give you higher trajectory and more spin
less weight, lower trajectory, less spin
loft of the club always has more affect on shot trajectory
