I just bought a set of TS3 irons and a 52 and 56 Max wedge set. For the wedges I also bought a pack of 3 and 4 gram weights, are these just used for swingweight or can the be used for direction? The 52 is a .90 sole and the 56 is the .105.

Mainly for swing weight. 3 to 4 grams of weight is not enough to do anything directionally, and with the higher lofts of wedges, you’re not going to see much in directional changes by moving weight horizontally or vertically. 10 grams of weight only moves cg approximately 3/32″ or .094″, which is less than 2.5 millimeters.
