Brett how is the CG line on the Maxfli tour S any different from the alignment line on other balls; must you use it for best putting roll; and as the Dick’s video seems to imply does using the line off the tee too improve ball flight?

I can’t really comment on the technology related to the line on the ball. We don’t have anything to do with the development of the ball. I do know that the Maxfli Tour golf balls, are really good. We have not really done any extensive testing for them, but if the ball is balanced, with the cg in the center, it should roll true and fly true no matter the orientation. I think that might be a little more marketing than anything else. Again, if a ball is center of gravity balanced with the cg in the center of the ball, it doesn’t matter. They say it is, so it must be. You’ll notice that the new tour balls, the Tour, Tour S and the Tour X, do have the line and say it is center of gravity balanced, but that’s about it from what I see. The review from the guys at My Golf Spy is excellent. The 2023 or the new one are both excellent golf balls. I just wouldn’t over think the alignment mark.
