I’m interested in having Golf Works build me an approximately MOI matched set using 3/8″ length and 0.5 SW increments (SW increasing as clubs get shorter).

Can Golf Works do that for me by adding tip weights? I’m not sure what the PW/GW SW would be but it would be the highest and the other clubs would decrease from there.

I’m leaning towards the TE+ heads and MPF Pro Stiff shafts. And perhaps also including a few TC Pro IST hybrids with the same iron shafts at iron length.

Thanks!

I’m an avid fan of MOI matching and just wanted to comment without stepping on this thread. Most of my sets I’ve MOI matched. Big thing is, you need to know your “favorite club MOI number” mine is 2602, or without a MOI machine your favorite club SW, that’s the club you hit the best all the time and dead nuts in the middle. In my case it’s D1.65 (or D1.5 if you like). All other clubs would be based off of that “perfect iron”.
I did the first couple of sets via SW using a scale and an homemade balance point along with a 48″ ruler. It was fun but tedious. I finally purchased a MOI scale for my shop. Most of my customers don’t really want to get involved to much with the engineering aspect, just want to play golf so it tends to gather dust until I decide to build another set LOL.
I like the way that Britt explains it: it’s just another way to Swing Weight clubs or words to that affect.
