Preface this by saying I fall into the “it’s mostly marketing” camp regarding the ZT fad. I’m intrigued by it, but I can never seem to putt well with any center shaft. However, I was able to demo the new PXG bat attack and actually really liked it. The problem is the PXG face feels terrible IMHO.
Off all the ZT designs this one seems it would be the easiest to replicate. I read the post from earlier this year about putting left handed plumbers necks into right handed putters to create something similar to ZT, and in my non engineering brain the bat attack is what that would look like.
Do yall have any ideas for how to get something close to that bat attack design, but using one of your milled putters? I feel like it would be the best of both worlds.
I think any of them could work. I thought the Max Milled or the PTM-5 seemed to set up well with it, although I would never use it. Just can’t get used to the look of it, in any putter. Not just ours, but any of the Zero Torques. I doo not like the face that far forward, but that’s just me.
