I was wondering if this shaft has similar characteristics as the pricey UST ATTAS 4U 5R shaft. This is an ultra-light shaft in regular flex with a soft butt, firm midsection and slightly stiff tip to produce high launch and low spin. I tried it on a 2017 M1 10.5 and it had a great feel and kick. Looking for a similar shaft without the price tag. My swing speed varies from 90 to 98mph depending on how I feel.

The MPF Pro Series UL is actually very similar to the Attas 4U profile. The MPF UL in the R flex is almost identical in profile in the butt section and the mid section. It is slightly firmer in the tip section. This may make it feel firmer. Weights are similar, with the MPF being about 4 grams lighter. Based on our database and the profile data we have, the MPF UL in the R flex could be a very close value option for you to try.

– Fujikura Pro XLR8 56 grams in Regular flex
– Matrix Ozik White Tie MFS X5 55 grams in Stiff flex

in terms of launch and spin?
