In comparing you have to first look at the lofts. The TS-3 will have 28 deg. on the 6. TS1-IM will have 29. The TS1 has 28.5. So, only a 1 degree difference in the three and most will not see too much of a trajectory or distance difference from 1 degree. Better players might. The TS3 has a slightly lower actual vertical cg, contributing to it’s 786 MPF. Compare that to the TS1-IM at 728 and the TS1 at 711. So technically the TS3 would be slightly more forgiving, but any variance within a 100 points is hard to notice. The TS3 is not injected with any material. It is a solid, progressive cavity forging with tungsten weighting in the toe. The tungsten enables us to fine tune the cg location, insuring it is in the right place. Slightly wider sole on the TS3 as well. Overall, the TS3 will give you a different look, with a wider topline and sole and should perform much like the TS2, but with a very slightly higher trajectory and possibly slightly more spin. The numbers could vary for each player. The TS1-IM should perform very much like the TS1. It does look different with the finish we have chosen and the slightly less offset. The sole is also slightly wider than the TS1. The technology in the TS1-IM is similar to the TS1, but not exactly the same. Where the TS1 has a forged 1025C carbon steel body and face and co-forged tungsten in the toe, the TS1-IM features a Super Maraging steel forged face and a 1025C carbon steel body. It also has the tungsten “co-forged” into the toe to allow for precise cg location and increasing the overall stability.
All have exceeded our expectations in our testing. Can’t wait to get them.
Hope this helps.
