I’ve been playing the same Mizuno mp68’s for 15 years. I’m sort of done with blades and want a little help from technology. Was once an accomplished tournament player but USGA anti-anchoring ruling awhile back sort of took me out of golf except for 10 or 12 rounds of bunt-around social play each summer. Index is 4.5 now.

I want to play more but now mid-60s and was never a strong person and less so today. I had an iron fitting long ago which indicated I should play TT DG S300; exactly what I had always played. Love those shafts. Buuuuut, with age I feel it may be time to go lighter. Im just not getting the long irons airborne like I want. Based on that, I have ordered a TS3 4 iron and TS1 IM wedge and am going putting TT DG 105 shafts in them to see how I like them.

The TS3 should help with height on long irons while the TS1IM should give a muscle back feeling but I’m done with true muscle backs as I just want some help with the off center stuff.

Has anyone mixed these heads? Thoughts? Thanks.

Based on your comments you are experienced enough to forget this whole ‘fitting’ thing! Its a money racket.
Amazes me how people who can’t break 95 on a good day think that some ‘fitting session’ is going to improve their game!
