What are the changes to the new Pro+ driver shaft? Is it primarily cosmetic, or are there performance upgrades as well?
Totally new design and profile throughout the line. The primary difference is that I re-designed the flex profiles to be more in line with the traditional flex ranges of r, s, etc. The current Pro Series are great shafts, but have always been on the firmer side of each flex category. The R flex was a really frim R flex, the S flex was a really firm S flex, etc. So my hope is the new design will be more in line with what players expect for each flex. Modern materials and same spec standards and testing of the frequency and oscillation in the 0 and 90 degree planes. Testing yielded awesome results. Great shaft and one of the best values you can get in a shaft, in my opinion. Hope to have them available very soon. They are here (just arrived) and just need to get them on the shelf.
