Currently I play the MPF in S flex and really love the bend profile and feel. My SS and delivery has always been between S and XS profiles depending on the brand so the MPF S flex is right in my zone. My question is, which New Pro shaft would you recommend? I don’t really want anything lighter than 85g, but also don’t want any stiffer than what I play. Would the XS still be a good fit? Or would you recommend staying with Stiff?

Also, any word on when they’ll be available for purchase?

So Britt, would you say the new Pro Series + iron shaft flexes play a little softer compared to the same flex in the Pro Series they are replacing?

I use the A flex iron shaft in my 4 and 5 IST hybrids right now, but plan to add the new 6h, but A flex is out of stock in the old MPF Pro Series. Would I want to go with the R flex in the new Pro Series + to better match up with the A flex of the old version?

I am assuming you’re talking about the irons because of the 85 gram reference. The new Pro Series XS is very similar in profile to the current S flex MPF iron shaft. The new XS is 85 grams too, so that hits what you’re looking for. I do not think the new XS will be too stiff. As I said, the profile is very similar to the current S flex.

Hey Britt thanks for the response! Sorry about that, I forgot to mention yes, they’re in my irons.

That’s good news about the new XS and old S shafts lining up pretty closely. They’ll definitely be on the list for my next build. Now to decide if I wanna pair them with the TS3, TS4, or a split set in DBM coming down the road.
