Based on the specifications, the Nippon should produce the mid ball flight and have a slightly firmer feel. That being said, the VSS insert does make the Elevate feel different. Dampens vibrations which does make the shaft feel different. I can’t say how different, just different. I like the feel, but others may not. The Elevate is a mid/high ball flight vs the mid ball flight of the Nippon. Both shafts will definitely feel softer than the KBS C-Taper which has a much stiffer profile. If the mid ball flight is the main thing your looking for, I think the Nippon would be the one that would be more likely to produce that flight characteristic.
