Hello
I am thinking of putting the Nippon Modus 3Tour 105 in my Titleist 714 AP2s .They seem to start at 37 ” as shortest .Nothing on their website for tip trimming .Does anybody have idea how trim these shafts .
Thanks in advance
Robert
Hello, Robert!
Since it’s a taper tip shaft (.355), you just trim to length. I believe your AP2’s are also taper tip, so you just prep the hosel and the shaft tip and assemble, then butt cut to desired length. Here’s the link on the GolfWorks site for the same shaft. You’ll notice the trim code is IR1 which is as I have detailed here, butt trim to length.

Hope this helps. Michael
Hi Mike
Thank you very much.Seems odd that they do precut to the no shaft you need ?
Again thanks Mike
