I am debating between trying the newest version of the Sti2’s (version 2) and the older DBM which is in the deal section. Love the look of the DBM’s and the fact the upper irons and wedges match what I like, the 50 degree gap wedge is great. I know the sti2’s have progressive offset while the DBM’s are not. I have read the Sti2’s have a rounded sole, how would you describe or compare the the DBM’s? I am more of a sweeper, when I take divots they are not very big ones. Currently use the Tour Edge C521’s (with E522 iron-woods for 4&5). So really only be gaming 6-LW and dart wedge based on what I end up ordering. Before the C521’s I was using Tour Edge Ht-Max D irons. I am assuming either new club head would probably be just as forgiving or even more then the tour edges? I cannot find the MPF rating on either of my old sets, so just want to make sure. But really interested on how the soles of the two models would compare. And again I am talking about the older version in the deal section with less modern lofts…….I gave up chances more distances years ago, keep it straight and in fairway and will be ok. Don’t have a real average, but most people say I play bogey and half gold, not double bogey golf. Graphite shafts will go in either head I get. But until I decide on heads, don’t want to worry too much about shaft selection yet.
Thanks Britt. Really leaning toward dbm pair with dmb dart wedges. This make it even easier to pick now
