Hi all! I have a very old (rare) putter head, a center shafted Accu-Rad Accu-Roll 1 (radius face putter). The sole of the putter is stamped with the word “Bronze” and I’m not sure if that means it is milled from bronze? It actually looks like a solid piece of brass to me. The Accu-Rad company went OOB a long, long time ago and my searches for details about this putter have come up with nill.

So, this putter has a great deal of sentimental value (as well as being one of the truest I’ve ever used). I recently brought it to a popular club fitting/ service store to have it reshafted with a steel shaft. After it cured in the store for 3 days I picked it up. I should have checked it BEFORE I left the store but didn’t. Upon inspecting it at home I came to find that the head popped right out of the shaft. The residue of epoxy looked scant to say the least.

Can anyone suggest which epoxy would be best to attach this putter tip to a steel shaft? I’m not sure which epoxy the Retailer used. (Sorry, I’d upload a photo but I can’t compress one down to 0.48MB)
