Britt or Jim,

What do you have that compares well to the Paderson Kinetixx TS-1 iron shaft which you used to carry in X flex?

It’s a low torque 88 gram shaft. Could the current Pro Series S flex be tip cut a bit more to bring it to an X?
I know it’s already pretty tip stiff.

Also, how will the new Pro Series shafts compare to the current ones in terms of their profile? I know you have an X flex coming.

Not sure if Jim already answered this directly, so I’ll chime in. The Kinetixx X flex iron was, is a pretty stiff shaft, especially in the mid and tip section. The butt section is pretty similar in profile to the current MPF S flex, but the tip section is stiffer. I suppose you could tip trim an additional 1/2″ from the current MPF S flex iron to stiffen it up a little, but not sure how it will compare to the Kinetixx.

The new MPF Pro Series shafts will not be as stiff as the current ones. They will be more true to flex than the current ones, which are stiffer. So the S flex in the new will be a true S flex. The S flex in the old was more like an X flex. In fact, the S flex in the old has a similar profile to the XS in the new profile. So we, I, feel the new profiles will be much better and work for a lot more player types.
