I play the ping G5 irons from 2006. MPF around 805 but the MOI and c dim appears less than the most current offerings ie ping g 430/440/730, yet they have lower MPF. Wondering why that is. Thx again

Staying with what you have is fine, but there are others you could try. I will only recommend our Maltby irons here, but you can look on our MPF data base and see other brand models and compare the MPF playability ratings. Our KE4 Max irons are our most forgiving (Ultra Game Improvement) and perform very well. Our TS3 Forged irons are our best seller and fall into the Super Game Improvement category. The STi2 2nd Generation irons have also been very good performers and are also in the Super Game Improvement category. If the Ping are in good shape you could stay with them, but they do have weaker lofts than most similar models today. So if you want more modern lofts, you will need to try something new.
