Hello Britt,
I want to build a new set of irons and I am considering either the TE Forged or the PTM Chrome. I have compared all the playability information in both but the measurement that I would really like to know is which one has the horizontal CG closer to the center of the face.
Many thanks in advance for your help and congratulations for your knowledge sharing in this forum.
Thank you Jim. I am now confused.
In the description of the PTM says:
“The Progressive Tour Muscle (PTM) cavity is designed to place more weight in the toe of the long irons, increasing stability and forgiveness, and progressing back to a neutral weight distribution on the short irons, producing the trajectory and feel desired by better players”
How can the weight be moved towards the toe in some irons and maintain the CG right in the center of the face?
Thanks for your answer.
