I’m currently using the Pure Track shaft and it’s too heavy so I want to reshaft. I’ve read where the “post” will come loose so wondering if there is anything I should be aware of when pulling the old shaft? Should I twist in a certain direction?

The post is threaded in and epoxied. If it takes to much heat to remove the shaft that you’re removing it could compromise the epoxy holding the threaded post. It shouldn’t, but it might. I have removed several and it hasn’t been an issue. I try to pull the shaft straight off, but if you have to twist, it’s OK. The threads are reverse threaded. If the post does come loose you can simply unscrew it and add a little epoxy to it and screw it back in. Chances are it will be fine and it won’t come loose.
