Hello all. I got a good one…

I have a client  with a Scotty Cameron Futura x5 and says it’s too heavy. My question was total weight or swing weight. He says BOTH. Come to find out it’s  a dual balance, so the head is 50g heavier, there are 15g weights (2) instead of 10g, its got a 50g plug in the grip, the grip is 136g and 17″ long. He needs to play a 33″ putter, and it was 38″ to start. He had it cut down to 33″, and grips it as a normal putter, so swing weight wise its HEAVY! He wants it lighter total and swing weight. So, first I got 5g weights (2) for the head so that saves 20g total. Im going to add 3″ back to the length tonhelp woth counter balance. He wants a fater diameter grip so going to the Super Stroke 5.0, but I need a grip that is 13″-14″ long. So, let me know what you think of my idea… I got two grips, I’ll cut the but cap off of one and slide it on, then cut the second to use the but cap and about 3″-4″. Epoxy the ends that touch and butt them together, then I got some heatshrink tubing to cover the seam. The seam will be above the hands and only there to cover the extension and counterbalance. Having this 3 ish inches should be enough to get the swing wheight a bit lighter and I should save some total weight (original grip 135g,  new Frankenstein grip about 122g) The extension is 15g, and the counterbalance weight is 51g.  Taking the 20g off the head and adding 15g to the butt end will help with swing weight. If you have any better ideas, please let me know. Thanks
