I would like to get a putter with less than 70 degree lie but I cannot find any. I have an old Ping Anser putter head and was wondering if I could put in a bent shaft to flatten out the lie. I am afraid that bending to a flatter lie will throw off the balance of the putter since it was designed for an upright lie. I did my best putting with an old Acushnet bullseye that allowed for a flatter lie but the toe would be well off the ground. I don’t want to go back to that but would rather have a flat lie putter so I don’t have to set up in a manner that goes against the design of the club. Any suggestions on how to get a putter with 65-68 degree lie?
