Want to reshaft a used Callaway rogue & am worried about using my shaft puller. Have pulled hundreds of shafts but no adjustable collars. Do I have to get an entirely ferrule/collar?
If you are just trying to remove the adaptor, we have a tool for that, to use in conjunction with a shaft puller. An easier way is to simply buy another adaptor for the Callaway Rogue (adaptor code is CA0020) and install it on the new shaft you want. Then you simply remove the shaft that is in the driver, adaptor and all, and install the new shaft and new adaptor. This eliminates the chance of damaging the adaptor if you try to remove it from the old shaft, and also gives you the option of re-installing the original shaft if you want to. If you want to remove the old adaptor, you will need the OEM Adaptor Saver Kit (GW0130) and a shaft puller. If you get the GW1009 Enhanced Graphite shaft extractor, the OEM Adaptor Saver kit is included.
