Hi, from the recoil SmacWrap 760/780 info:

“SmacWrap is viscoelastic material that is able to bring a high amount of damping (vibration absorption) in composite structures when it is located strategically within a composite structure’s core”.

I’d guess this is some rubber like material applied on the inside of the shaft, can you advise the degree of damping this provides? My arthritis would appreciate additional damping, but don’t want to lose all feel. Would it be damaged by subsequently removing a shaft with heat from the head?

thanks.
