I don’t know the length of the 3 wood you are struggling with, but your 910F is probably 43″ in length. You could try the re-shaft first at the current length. One of the things we suggest when players are struggling is to try a shorter length. After trying the new shaft, you could try it with the new shaft at a slightly shorter length. Cutting it down as little as 1/2 inch might work. If you do want to try the hybrid route, you need to be aware that the hybrids are meant to be built to shorter lengths and because of this, the head weights are heavier. Our KE4 Tour HDI Driving iron #1 (17 deg.) hybrid and our KE4 Tour Hybrid 3H (19 deg.) are both 232 grams in head weight to accommodate the shorter playing lengths. Most 3 woods today will be anywhere from 205 to 215 grams, which generally require the 42.5 to 43.5 playing lengths to fall into a reasonable swing weight range. The shorter playing lengths of the hybrids should be easier for you to control, but I would not expect to hit them as far as your traditional 3 wood. Simple truth, the shorter the club, the easier it is to hit. Ralph has always said that everything in golf is a trade-off and that is no more apparent than we are discussing length of clubs. Shorten clubs, gain accuracy and possibly give up a little distance. Lengthen clubs and possibly gain distance, but give up accuracy. That being said, many have actually gained distance and accuracy by shortening clubs because they can hit them more solid.

I believe the shaft in the 3 wood is standard length from Titleist so 43inches if I remember right.
Would a test on length be shortening the current Daimana Kai’li 75 by half an inch to see if length is part of my issue before re-shafting to my club fitting recommendations?
