I have a Taylor Made 1 19 degree hybrid with the original regular hybrid shaft. I’m replacing it with a UST Mamiya ProForce VT grafphite senior shaft. Can I use the original adapter or do I have to get a new one?
The M1 hybrid uses a .370 shaft, so as long as the shaft is .370 tip, you should be able to use the existing adaptor. Sometimes the small plastic ferrule at the top of the adaptor is difficult to save when heat is applied, so you might consider just getting a new adaptor to put on the new shaft and then all you have to do is remove the existing shaft and adaptor and install the new shaft and adaptor. Much easier to do. Our code for the M1 hybrid adaptor is TM0020.
