I have a bare score LT iron shaft I need to cut for a stiff flex standard length for a 7 iron TS3 head. I called customer service in canada and was told to trim 4″ off the tip, that woudl leave the shaft onger than my 6 iron? I then looked at the trim sheet and it says 4″ off the butt?
Im very confused and hope someone can clarify.

also 4″ off a 41″ shaft leave it at 37″ which is too long for a 7 iron……
