Hi, I’ve got a Scotty Cameron Futura Phantom Mallet that needs a new shaft. After a “bag drop” the shaft is loose, and might be bent too. Is this a single bend putter shaft? Which shaft would I use to reshaft this?
It’s not a 90 degree bore, so we have no “stock” double bend or single bend shafts that will work and I doubt the Odyssey double bend shaft we carry will work. We can custom bend a shaft to match as close as possible, but you would need to send in the putter with the shaft so we can try and match the bend. If it’s just loose and slightly bent, we can tighten the head and may be able to bend the existing shaft back into the original position, as long as the shaft is not kinked or creased. Another option would be to contact someone at Scotty Cameron and see if they either have a shaft or can give some guidance.
