Hi, I am building a new driver for a friend of mine, I used the MPF Shaft Finder for his swing speed and it came out to 1D3M (slow swing speed, wanting to add distance, higher ball flight and no correction). He is a consistently straight hitter but would like more off the tee.
Results came up with more Iron/Hybrid than Driver shafts but wanted community help on the options it gave me. This will be going into an older Taylormade R7 Superquad TP head so has to fit that as well.
Graphite Design G-Tech Gaaphite Shaft – $17.99
What other options should I look at in the lower cost price range that would benefit and fit the R7 head?
Thanks Britt, all of these will fit into the Taylormade R7 head correct (I’m assuming the club is a .335 hosel)?
I am leaning to starting with the lower cost options to begin with, I can potentially get 2-3 of the same shaft and play with installed length to see what happens.
I managed to also find the original specs for the driver, with the TM RE-AX shafts, would it be more advisable to go with one of them & tip it to a softer flex?
