This may be a silly question, and likely to have been answered, but here it goes. I ordered TSI IM heads with the idea of using S300 shaft pulls to save me a little money. Shafts were originally 1/4” under standard (36-3/4” 7 Iron), I knew with the bore to ground measurement being different they would be shorter, I soft stepped the shaft pulls to get to the same length, however they are so stiff/heavy I cannot time them at all, numbers are all over the map, obviously feel awful, I know it can’t be the head. I DG 120 S300 in a couple other OEM heads, and they timed beautifully, great numbers, efficiency etc. With the different bore to ground measurement, will the shaft perform the same as it does in other heads, beyond the obvious differences in head, or will the shaft characteristics change completely?
They came from Adams Golf A-tour heads, built circa 2006. I just took out a set of Mizuno MP-33 irons same spec same DG S300 from the same period, and they felt just as bad.
