Here is the link to the chart. The shaded areas reflect the ranges we have seen for each flex from all the shafts we have tested.

We do have a chart for irons that is designed for use with shafts cut to length, heads installed, without grips. I can send a copy of it, but it will be next week. Please send me a reminder and I can forward it to you.
Britt Lindsey
this is a reminder for the chart as you ask
thank you
Not sure if you’re doing anything wrong. Understand, the chart is a reference and can not tell you the exact overall flex of the shaft. A shafts flex is determined by the flex distribution from the butt end to the tip end. The frequency analyzer gives you a reference based o a 5″ clamping dimension, the 205 gram weight, etc. The chart was designed for finished club frequencies, not raw shaft frequencies, when it comes to referencing the flex designation. I am confidant that trimmed correctly and built to the proper specs the L flex will play in that category or range. If, after you build the club, you check it and it does not fall into the L flex range, let us know.

thanks i’ll do that,is there a chart i can use for raw shaft
ok i got for a 9 iron 282 gram finish length 35.25 a frequency of 272 its more like a LL ,if i want
to be in the L range for the rest of the set should i get A flex
