I am building my first driver with a adjustable hosel and I was wondering what length is the shaft to be cut at if it is standard length? it is a maltby pro head I believe a te4.
depends on a couple of things. Standard length per Maltby chart can be 45 or 45.5 depending on shaft weight.
Assuming weight is 65 grams or greater and KE4 adapter installed, the total length will be right at 43.5″ (no grip installed).
As Rlafoone stated, the length could be 45 or 45.5 depending on the weight of the shaft. I would always install the adaptor on the shaft and install into the head before cutting the shaft to the final playing length you want.

it is a 60 gram regular flex. so you take the adapter off the club head and epoxy it that way? not why it is on the club head. his clubs have 3/4 inch longer shafts so I would probably gp
the shaft was shiny on the tip would you ruff it up a little bit?
Yes the shine needs to be removed with sandpaper
