I have a Never Compromise putter 35.5″ which I would like to shorten to 33.5″ but I’m concerned about what happens to the swing weight. There’s no good way to add weight to the putter head. I have an identical putter which is at 34.5″ and it seems fine at that length in terms of swing weight. Any idea if this would reduce swing weight too much?
Thanks for the help! The putter I like (33.5″) is C1 swingweight. The one I want to shorten from 35.5″ to 33.5″ is D6.5 swingweight. So 2″ shorter, it would be C4.5 at 3 pts/half inch. More is better, though so what putter grip, midsize would be lighter weight?
